That’s the reason we are devoted to being good neighbors and benefit our Farmington Hills community. Our social responsibility strategy exists to ensure we’re working to make a better tomorrow.

Green Initiatives

Corrigan Moving is devoted to partnering with our environment by creating sustainable business practices. Here are a few of the ways that we are committed to the mission:

• Recycle and reuse used boxes, oil, and equipment whenever possible
• Energy-saving equipment and lighting is installed at our buildings
• Implement technology on our vehicles to increase fuel efficiency
• Use of sustainable packing materials whenever possible
• Efficiently dispatch transportation routes and shipment loads to minimize emissions

Scholarship Program

Corrigan Moving is committed to growth through education. We offer a scholarship to all incoming and current secondary-education students that are employed with Corrigan Moving as a mover during the summer months when they are not in school. With this incentive each student-employee can receive up to a $1000 scholarship by committing to and following through with their summer employment.

 

 

Community Involvement

Involvement in our community is not only extremely important, it is additionally the most enjoyable part of what we do. Each Corrigan location chooses community events that speak to their local needs. We try to be exemplary corporate citizens by volunteering our time, trucks and capital resources to our communities.

Disaster Relief & Recovery

Most recently, multiple of our offices helped with relief efforts following the tornados in Kentucky. Corrigan Moving provided tractor-trailers, drivers, and labor to move multiple truckloads of supplies to Kentucky. These shipments included wet wipes, formula, non-perishable food, clothing, water, and countless other supplies. This video highlights the efforts from just one of our offices that helped.
